Do you ever have those days where you have a general idea of the stamp set or the design you want to make and by the time it all comes together, it's completely different than how you thought it would look?
This card started its life with the three stamped flowers. I knew I wanted to use bright colors, as I realized my last few cards have all been softer colors. After stamping and die cutting out the three flowers, the rest was all a matter of playing around with different ideas until I came up with the finished result, and I like it.
The Color & Contour stamp set is a two-step stamp, meaning it has stamps for the image fill and sketch style outline to be combined for the completed image. The fill stamps are designed with varying degrees of opacity giving it wonderful dimension. I wanted the overall feel to be contemporary so I turned the square on its side and placed the flowers on a diamond shaped background, which led nicely to having a planter that was a triangle. Super easy to make! The "Hello" from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set is the perfect size for the adorable Best Label punch, and the background prints are supplied by the 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) Assortment.
