Greetings!
It's hard to appreciate how gorgeous all the papers are in the New Horizons 6 x 6 Designer Series Papers until you have them in your hands and can look at each one. They are amazing! After making some cards this past weekend I had a few left over pieces which were too gorgeous to discard. The Wildflower Path stamp set has a wonderful quote stamp included and I thought, oh!, this will be perfect with the print I have. I just had to find a die to frame the quote in and found that with the soon to be retired Tasteful Labels dies. The marriage of these three elements produces a very simple yet beautiful card.
Isn't it lovely! This watercolor feels like a beautiful landscape at dusk with all these rosy hues. The print had a piece cut out which wasn't quite large enough for the opening I needed, so Tasteful Labels dies to the rescue! This die is the perfect size and shape for this message.
Embossing the message in silver on black allows the lovely watercolor scene to be the star of the show.

- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Basic Black cardstock

- Versamark Pad

Here's How It's Made:
Position die on New Horizons Designer Series Paper print, centering side to side, and die cut opening using the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. For help in holding die in place, sticky notes are a great help.
Place paper onto Basic Black cardstock without adhering. Ink "Do not go..." stamp with Versamark and stamp onto Basic Black inside die cut opening. Carefully remove print, sprinkle stamped message with Silver Embossing Powder, shake off excess and heat set with Heat Tool.
Glue New Horizons print onto Basic Black cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere onto Fresh Freesia card base.
