Flowering Tulips Encircled Thank You Wreath

Greetings!

The versatility of the Flowering Tulips bundle is endless, especially when paired with the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP).   These papers offer so many gorgeous color combination inspirations it's hard to walk away from them without creating something.

The Tulips Dies make it so easy to quickly create foolproof tulips!  They have all the elements to cut out your pieces of the blooms and pair them up to create gorgeous flowers.

I've seen a few examples of cards with a circle around a focal point or sentiment to give it the suggestion of a wreath, so I decided to try it.  The Layering Circles Dies are perfect for this feature as they have a wonderful variety of sizes to work with.  This card goes together so quickly as the only stamping is on the sentiment and the leaf peaking out from the tulip.  The tulip print panel is only a 4 x 4 piece, so if you want to make multiples you get 9 cards out of one sheet of the 12 x 12 print.

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere 4 x 4 print panel to Rich Razzleberry card front 1/4" down from top, then adhere strips of Soft Succulent cardstock and Highland Heather DSP (this is the reverse side of the scattered tulips print) below panel.

Ink "thank you" with Highland Heather and stamp in center of Basic White square.  Die cut with 2" Layering Circle die.  Die cut large Basic White ring with 2-3/4 x 2-1/2 Layering Circle dies.  Adhere near upper left edge of card front.

Ink small leaf stamp with Soft Succulent and stamp onto Soft Succulent cardstock.  Die cut with corresponding die.  These leaves are designed so you can use them either direction and either side giving wonderful variety to your creations.

Die cut hinged tulip dies, inner 2-petal die and single center die so you have a total of each of the three types.  Arrange to form tulips.  I did two of the one type of hinged outside and one of the other.  Here's a close-up.  I also made sure the shading of the paper was darkest for the inner piece.  Adhere layers with mini glue dots.  Position and adhere along right edge of Basic White ring, with leaf tucked under flowers so a little bit is peaking out.

This card uses dies that all fit in the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. If you've been thinking about taking your paper crafting to the next level and incorporating die cuts, purchasing the Mini and a bundle such as this one are a great way to start!  You have everything you need the moment you unpack the box to let your creative juices flow!

Here's what the inside looks like:

Adhere a 4 x 3 Basic White cardstock panel to inside of card.  Adhere a 1 x 4 strip of the scattered tulips print beneath.

Enjoy your beautiful card!
