Layers of Beauty She's the Greatest Mother's Day Card

Greetings!

Today's card features the She's the Greatest stamp set and Layers of Beauty dies.

Techniques include heat embossing, fussy cutting and coloring with Stampin' Blends.

This card is CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from an online sample shown with the She's the Greatest stamp set.  I changed up the sentiment.  I loved the coloring of the die cut leaves with the Stampin' Blends idea, as well as the layout.  There are always new ways to do things and I felt this was worth copying and sharing.

Here's How It's Made:

Using floral stamp from She's the Greatest stamp set, ink with Smoky Slate, stamp onto Smoky Slate folded card front, re-ink and repeat, filling front of card with image.

Ink same floral stamp with Smoky Slate, stamp two images onto Basic White cardstock, fussy cut out image.  From Layers of Beauty dies, die cut small leaf cluster 4 times, and open leaf clusters twice each.  Using Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, brush color over all die cut leaves.  Color floral clusters with Calypso Coral in flowers and Granny Apple Green on leaves, using a tapping motion more than brushing, so it doesn't blur the outline.

Die cut Basic White cardstock with largest rounded corner Nested Essentials rectangle die.  Ink Happy, Mother's & Day with Smoky Slate, stamp onto label on upper half.  Ink Mom with Calypso Coral, stamp in bottom half.  Die cut small Layers of Beauty Label from Calypso Coral.  Ink love you with Versamark, stamp onto label, sprinkle with White embossing powder, shake off excess, melt with heat tool to set.

Wrap Baker's Twine around card front twice, insert one end through hole in tag, tie a small bow.  Position tag near left side, secure to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Adhere die cut sentiment over twine and right of tag.

Adhere die cut leaves to underside of colored floral clusters with adhesive, positioning so leaves will not extend beyond edges of card front.

Adhere assembled flower/leaf pieces at upper left and lower right of sentiment label.

Embellish with Calypso Coral small and large Ombre' Matte Decorative Dots.
