Framed Scenes Love & Strength Here For You Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features frames from the Framed Scenes dies and sentiment and image from the Love & Strength stamp set.


Techniques include masking and coloring with Blending Brushes and Stampin' Blends.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Framed Scenes dies
  • Love and Strength stamp set
  • Old Olive cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
    • 2-1/4 x 1/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
    • 1-3/4 x 1-1/4
  • Gold Foil Sheet
    • 3-1/2 x 2-3/4
  • Window Sheet
    • 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
  • Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
  • Old Olive Stampin' Blends 
  • Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends 
  • Blending Brushes
  • Mini Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Linen Thread - 9"
  • Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds
  • Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder
  • Paper Snips
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut largest oval out of center of Window Sheet to create mask.  Place window sheet onto Basic White cardstock, centering.  Brush Blending Brush onto Crumb Cake ink pad to gather ink, hold window sheet firmly in place, and brush ink into oval opening to color onto Basic White cardstock.  Stamp a few splatters in upper left and lower right corners of cardstock, stamping multiple times before re-inking.


Emboss Basic White cardstock piece with Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.  Trim cardstock if needed so oval is in center.


Die cut frame from Gold Foil Sheet.  Ink plant with berries stamp with Memento Ink, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Color leaves with light and dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends, and berries with light and dark Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends.  Fussy cut with Paper Snips.  Ink sentiment with Memento Ink, stamp onto Old Olive cardstock.


Cut strips from outer edge of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals sheet, adhere to backside of Gold Foil frame.  Adhere to Basic White panel, framing oval.  Adhere plant onto oval with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adhere sentiment strip with Stampin' Dimensionals to strip covers bottom of plant, and right side extends over frame.  Adhere assembled piece to Old Olive folded card front.


Tie linen thread into bow, adhere at left bottom of sentiment strip.  


Embellish with Dragonflies.
