Wildly Flowering Textured Floral Easy Z-fold Fun Fold Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features a print from the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Papers (DSP) and Textured Floral stamp and die bundle.


Techniques include two step stamping, die cutting and an easy z-fold fun fold.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Textured Floral Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • Moody Mauve cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
  • Wild Wheat cardstock
    • 3-1/4 x 2
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 2-3/8 punched circle
    • 3-3/4 square for inside
  • Crumb Cake cardstock
    • 2-3/8 punched circle
    • 3-1/2 x 7/8 
  • Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper 
    • 12 x 4 Wild Wheat background floral/Moody Mauve tone on tone floral print
  • Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Wild Wheat Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
  • 2-3/8 Circle Punch
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Score DSP print at 2-1/2 x 6-3/4.  


Fold at score lines to create z-fold, with Wild Wheat print showing on back panel (5-1/4 x 4), inside and front right.  Front left exposed area will be the Moody Mauve tone on tone floral.  Adhere to Moody Mauve card base panel.


On Basic White circle, ink flower cluster stamp with Blackberry Bliss, tap stamp on grid paper to give a slight stamp off, then stamp near right of circle.  Ink stem stamp with Wild Wheat, stamp in between flowers.  Ink flower stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp off once, ink at top left of flower cluster.  Ink center stamp with Blackberry Bliss, stamp in center of flower.  Ink splatter stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp off, stamp off upper right edge of flowers, ink, stamp off, and stamp at lower left of circle.
Die cut 3 stem branch from Wild Wheat cardstock.


Ink block lettering of sentiment with Wild Wheat, ink script lettering of sentiment with Blackberry Bliss, stamp onto Crumb Cake cardstock.   For inside panel, ink flower cluster with Blackberry Bliss, stamp off edge of lower right, ink stems with Wild Wheat and stamp between flowers.  Ink flower with Fresh Freesia, stamp off, then stamp in upper left corner, ink center flower with Blackberry Bliss.  Ink splatter stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp off, stamp at upper and lower edges, re-ink and stamp again 2 or 3 more times.


Assemble front layers of focal point as shown below:


Adhere assembled layers to front flap of z-fold with Stampin' Dimensionals (Make sure focal point adhesive doesn't extend to adhere to the Moody Mauve two-tone print).  Adhere Basic White inside panel near inside fold so it doesn't show when card is closed.


Embellish with Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
