Greetings of the Season New Year Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Greetings of the Season stamp and die bundle, Textured Floral dies and Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Papers (DSP).

Techniques include heat embossing, and specialty papers include Silver Foil.  The Silver Foil and Thoughtful Designs DSP give this card a beautiful, shimmery touch.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Greetings of the Season Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
• Textured Floral dies
• Petunia Pop cardstock 
• card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Berry Burst cardstock
• 3 x 2 with adhesive sheet
• Blackberry Bliss cardstock
• 4 x 2-3/4
• Smoky Slate cardstock
• 2-3/4 x 1-3/4 
• Silver Foil Sheet
• 3-3/4 x 2-1/2
• Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper 
• 5-1/4  x 4 Petunia Pop Ombre' print
• Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad
• VersaMark Ink Pad
• Clear Embossing Powder
• Adhesive Sheet
• Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon - 16"
• Silver 1/8"  Trim - (2) 4"
• Heat Tool
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Cut panel from Petunia Pop Ombre' DSP, cutting piece at lightest corner, as shown here:

Adhere DSP to Petunia Pop folded card front.

Die cut leafy branch from Berry Burst cardstock with adhesive-sheet attached.

Die cut corner notched rectangle label from Smoky Slate cardstock.  Position label with hole to right side.  Ink scripted "New Year" with VersaMark, then Blackberry Bliss, stamp onto lower 2/3rds of label.  Ink block "Happy" with VersaMark, then Blackberry Bliss, stamp at upper center of label.  Sprinkle words with Clear embossing powder, shake off excess, heat set with heat tool.  

Insert end of ribbon into hole in label, wrap around Blackberry Bliss cardstock, tie knot, position and adhere label to Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

Adhere Silver Foil to card front, 1/2" from bottom and right edges of DSP panel.  Adhere Blackberry Bliss to Silver Foil with Stampin' Dimensionals, leaving 3/8" exposed at bottom and right edges.  

Pull ribbon ends together, tie both Silver Trim pieces around ribbon.  Trim excess off all ribbon.  Peel protective layer off leafy die cut, adhere at left side of label.
