Terrific Toadstools "Poppin' up to say hi" Easel Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Terrific Toadstools Stamp & Punch Bundle, and coordinating Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Toadstool Gardens DSP is FREE with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration, which runs from January 7 - February 28, 2025.  

This card uses an easel fun fold, and includes the Spotlight on Nature die for the circle with the decorative edge.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Terrific Toadstools Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & punch with bundle item#)
  • Spotlight on Nature dies
  • Soft Sea Foam cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 2-1/8 & 4-1/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 for circle die cut
    • 1-3/4 x 1-1/4
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • scrap for stem punch
  • Granny Apple Green cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 1-7/8
    • 5-1/4 x 1-1/4 
  • Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper - FREE with $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration
    • 5 x 1-3/4 purple/pink/green wavy print
    • 5 x 7/8 same print as above
  • Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut Basic White cardstock with largest dashes & dots outline circle die.  Ink grassy hill stamp with Granny Apple Green, stamp just below center of circle.  Ink sentiment with Melon Mambo, stamp below grassy hill image.  Ink 3-stem stamp with Early Espresso, leaving bottom 1/4" free of ink, stamp on left half of grassy hill.  Ink 3-toadstool cap stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp onto top of stems.


Ink irregularly shaped toadstool cap with Fresh Freesia, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Align in punch and punch. (This stamp is designed to be larger than the punch, so there is no white outline around the image).  Punch a stem from Early Espresso cardstock.


Adhere DSP print strips to Granny Apple Green cardstock strips.  Adhere larger of the two to the bottom half of the Soft Sea Foam card front, below score line.  Adhere bottom part of circle to card front, making sure adhesive doesn't extend over score line.  Adhere bottom of punched stem to right side of grassy hill stamp with a mini glue dot at the bottom, leaving the rest of the stem free.  Place a Stampin' Dimensional at bottom left of toadstool cap, and a half one next to it, slide toadstool cap under top of stem, adhere at top part of circle.


Adhere remaining DSP/ Granny Apple Green strip to inside bottom of card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  You need the dimension for lift for the top to rest against when open.


Embellish with Purple adhesive-backed Sequins.  


If you wish, stamp the smallest toadstool cap with Melon Mambo, fussy cut out, punch another stem from Early Espresso, use just top half for stem, and adhere to bottom right of inside strip for a little accent.
