Greetings!
I am so excited to share my card with you today! I am participating in a monthly team challenge and one of the challenges is to find a card in the catalog using DSP and copy the layout. After flipping through the catalog a couple times, I landed on my selection. The sample in the catalog is not a card, however, it's a box with a wrap on it. I love the look of it so I used it as my template, added a couple mat layers and turned it into a card. I love it so much that I made another one right away, and will probably make a few more!
Isn't it lovely! The Wildly Flowering Designer Series Papers (DSP) are so beautiful and are one of the selections offered this month at 15% off! They consist of the 2023-2025 In Colors in a nice variety of large and small floral prints, linen look woven and tone on tone prints. This gives you easy options to select from to create a card such as the one I made here. The woven texture print works perfectly for the tag, and though I've never thought to simply fold a strip of DSP in half and trim the edges so it looks like ribbon, it's a great feature on this card. This is what makes looking through the catalog or the online samples such a great tool for getting your inspiration from. The artists who make up these samples are always finding new ways to show us how we can use the products offered to us.
If you look on page 40 of the annual catalog, or check out the Wildly Flowering Suite Collection online, you will see the sample I used for this card. It is different from the sample shown however, in that I don't own the stamp set & die bundle used for the sample. I knew the Sentimental Park dies had the the elongated hexagon die, which works perfectly for the tag, and the sentiment from the Sentimental Park stamp set just fits. I love when I can find an alternative that works just as well as what's shown in the catalog.

Here's How It's Made:
Die cut woven Crumb Cake DSP tag with elongated hexagon die (die is longer than DSP). Trim any excess so tag is 1-1/2 long from point to straight edge. Ink "thanks" with Early Espresso, stamp onto tag. Fold Moody Mauve DSP strip in half at slight angle, diagonally trim ends.
Adhere paper ribbon near right edge of Wild Wheat floral DSP panel, adhere tag 1/4" from top of DSP ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere assembled piece to Basic White cardstock. Wrap Moody Mauve Jute Trim around panel, tie ribbon at top edge of tag, secure with mini glue dot.
Adhere assembled panel to Crumb Cake cardstock panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere to Basic White Thick folded card front.
Embellish with adhesive-backed Textured Dots.
