I was so excited when I saw the Circle Sayings bundle in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Any time there is a bundle that includes a great punch I am thrilled. This allows those who don't have a die cut and emboss machine to still easily work with a fantastic set using the punch for the purpose of highlighting and layering images and sentiments. It's a winning combination!
The Circle Sayings bundle is filled with wonderful imagery, and I don't know what it is, but I just LOVE when images and sayings are "in the round". My inspiration for this card started by using one of the samples in the catalog that features this bundle, then changing it up a bit to make it my own.
Isn't it fun! I love having the focal point floating on this gorgeous background, and stamping the shells in the corner carries through the beachy vibe.
The beautifully scenic background paper is from the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP) and inspired the color palette for the circular image. Two sheets of this DSP are printed with panels of various sizes of images and patterns to be cut out and used on your cards. This is a fantastic feature and provides a great starting point for a card.
Gather Your Supplies:

- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- Wild Wheat cardstock
- Basic White cardstock
- Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper
- Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad
- Wild Wheat Classic Stampin' Pad
- Tuxedo Black Memento® Ink Pad

Here's How It's Made:
Ink shell stamp with Wild Wheat, stamp left four shells (before curve) in lower right corner of DSP panel. Adhere to Wild Wheat cardstock panel, adhere to Thick Basic White folded card front.
Ink ocean waves/sun stamp with Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Color waves with light Boho Blue Stampin' Blend, then filling in some areas with dark Boho Blue for shading. Color sunburst with light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend, then filling in areas closer to sun with dark Daffodil Delight and some streaks for shading. Ink "Warm Hello" with Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp onto center of colored circle (I inked and stamped again over the first one to give it a bolder look). Insert into punch, center, punch.
Ink "SENDING YOU A" with Crushed Curry, stamp along top edge of sunburst.
Apply adhesive to back of circle and adhere Gold Simply Elegant Trim, looping it so it extends out both sides of circle. Adhere to DSP panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Embellish circle and shells with Wild Wheat adhesive-backed Dots.
