Greetings!
The new Cheerful Daisies bundle has quickly become my current favorite! The dies are so fantastic with all the detail they have including embossed details in the petals. Another great feature of these dies are cut outs in the flower centers and leaves, and dies to layer under them so the contrasting colored cardstock peeks through. It's also nice to have the detailed dies layer on top of the full flowers, instead of having an outline die to layer over a full flower. This makes them much easier to work with.
Today's card features two of the new 2023-25 In Colors. Notice how beautifully the Moody Mauve pairs with Cherry Cobbler for the flowers, and both are striking with the Boho Blue. All these new color combinations are so fresh and fun!
I made this card at a retreat I was at a week ago, and I only had my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with me, so I used someone else's Big Shot to emboss the Boho Blue. As you can see, it didn't emboss it very well in one area and I chose to use it for my blog anyhow. Had I had my own full-sized machine with me, the background embossing would have been much better. Here's How It's Made:
Emboss Boho Blue panel with Crosshatch 3D embossing folder, adhere to Cherry Cobbler folded card front.
Die cut 3 flower die with leaves from Basic White cardstock. Die cut all three detailed flower petal layers from Moody Mauve cardstock, adhere to corresponding Basic White cardstock flower. Die cut 2 small flower centers and one large flower center from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Adhere to underside of Basic White flower centers. Die cut 2 leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock, adhere to underside of Basic White leaves. Adhere completely assembled piece to Boho Blue cardstock panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Die cut sprig from Pebbled Path cardstock, adhere under bottom left of flowers.
Ink "You're wonderful..." with Cherry Cobbler, stamp onto Basic White cardstock strip. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler cardstock strip, adhere assembled piece to card front 1/2" up from bottom edge of Boho Blue panel.
Embellish sprig die cut with Boho Blue In Color dots.
