Today is a day for a quick and easy card!
The new Pattern Party HOST Designer Series Paper (FREE with $180 purchase) is a spectacular variety of colorful prints and patterns with the reverse sides being black and white patterns. This pack of 48 12" x 12" sheets will see you through a year's worth of cards!
For today's card I selected a few colored prints and patterns cut into strips ranging from 1/4" to 3/4" wide in random lengths to cover the front of the card. Red Rhinestone basic jewels scattered about add sparkle and even more pops of color.

The congratulations is done by repeatedly stamping the word on a piece of cardstock and cutting them into individual strips. Paper Snips are the perfect tool to provide a crisp clean cut.
The inside of the card carries through the paper strip design and a message that perfectly accompanies the style. The sentiment and message are both from the Woodland Wonder stamp set. This stamp set is Photopolymer which is transparent, allowing for precise alignment.

Assembly Tips & Techniques:
- The Take Your Pick Tool is the perfect tool for picking up and placing small embellishments such as the rhinestones. It's much easier to accurately attach them when you can see them without your fingers getting in the way.
- The Paper Trimmer is a must have tool. The cutting platform is large enough to accommodate 12 x 12 paper, and has lines every 1/4" so you can make sure you are always cutting a straight line. It also has a scoring blade making it your go to for both cutting and scoring.
- Paper snips give you nice clean cuts. The blades are designed for precision; whether it's a straight cut you need or cutting out detailed images.
