Creative Celebrations Swirls Of Magic Reindeer Card

Greetings!

All the prints and images today are from the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Every time I think I need to move on to something else, I find another combination to make a card from.  For today's card, I added texture from the Swirls of Magic embossing folder.  This folder may have been introduced as part of the Frightfully Fun Halloween suite, but it works for so much more!  The final element is a beautifully foiled sentiment from the Magical Christmas Hot Foil dies.

Techniques include dry embossing and the Hot Foil System. There is no actual stamping on this card, other than whatever you may add inside. 😲

Hydrangea Hue steals the spotlight for the beautiful color of each print as well as the reindeer's scarf.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

The Hot Foil System is a wonderful new product!  I am finding it a great way to stock up on sentiments and messages to have on hand.  Since it takes a few minutes to warm up and start the foiling process, I recommend doing multiple pieces at a time.  For the Magical Christmas hot foil dies, I did a variety of foil colors on various cardstock colors, die cut them, and put them in little containers so when I need a message for my card, I simply pull one out and put it on the card.  Taking time to create a few at once will save you a lot of time when you're creating your cards and adding your messages.  There are a few different Hot Foil dies with multiple sayings per die, so whatever the season or occasion, you can have them on hand and ready for your card.  It's a wonderful tool!
