Garden Gatherings Vases Full of Birthday Wishes Card

Greetings!

Today's card features the Garden Gatherings stamp set & die bundle.  I don't know what it is, but I just LOVE sweet little vases in a stamp set, and this one has lovely floral options to go with them.  They're the perfect size to stand alone or pair them up as I have done on this card.  Who doesn't love a little fresh flower arrangement for their birthday?!  And this one requires no water, nor will they wilt and die on you.

Techniques include two-step stamping and tone-on-tone stamping for the background panel.

I CASEd this card from the sample on page 46 of the May-August 2026 catalog.

Beverly's Tip of the Day

Two-step stamping is such a bonus when you are working with floral stamps.  Having the stems and leaves as a separate stamp from the flowers and designed to fit together to create the completed plant is ideal.  The stamps in this Garden Gatherings set are designed with such precision that it makes it really easy to line up the flowers exactly where they need to be over the little dots that are part of the stem & leaf stamp.  Notice all the little dots on the yellow (Golden Glow) flower?  By stamping the stem & leaf stamp first in a darker color, when the flower stamp is inked it's still easy to see the little dots through the stamp so you can get it lined up perfectly.

If you haven't tried two-step stamping before, or feel you've had less than satisfactory results with it in the past, I encourage you to give it a try with this set.  I've had many sets with two-step stamping images, but this one is the best one I've used yet for getting a very accurate alignment.
