Pop-Up Petals Pot of Flowers Friendship Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the New Online Exclusive Pop-Up Petals stamp & die bundle.  This bundle is filled with adorable nature-inspired images, great messages and dies to create pop-ups for a fun surprise.


Techniques include the lovely Damask Designs embossing folder for the background panel, and the focal panel is framed with a Perennial Postage die cut.  Stamping techniques include two-step stamping and coloring in the images with Stampin' Blends.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Pop-up Petals bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • Perennial Postage dies
  • Damask Designs embossing folder
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Highland Heather cardstock
    • 4-1/2 x 3-1/4 die cut panel
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 
    • 4-1/8 x 2-7/8
    • 2 x 3-1/2 for stamped die cuts
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blends Combo Pack
  • Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Combo Pack

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss largest Basic White cardstock panel, adhere to folded card front. Die cut Highland Heather with 2nd largest Perennial Postage die, adhere to embossed layer, centering.  Ink "Grateful for your friendship" with Highland Heather, stamp on right side of Basic White panel, adhere to die cut layer.


Using vase stamp with 3 lines on it, ink just bottom part up to 1/8" or so above 3rd line, with Fresh Freesia, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Die cut using die with vase die with small neck, cut off 1/8" above ink.  

Ink small single flower stamp by pressing Lemon Lime Twist onto stem and leaves only, then ink flowers with Gorgeous Grape, avoiding leaf tips, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, re-ink and repeat twice more, then ink flower fill stamp with Highland Heather, stamp off, stamp inside flower outline, die cut all three flowers.  Fill in leaves with Lt Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Blend, and little base at flower with Dk Highland Heather Stampin' Blend.

Ink butterfly with Daffodil Delight, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, die cut.  Color in wings with Lt Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend, body with Dk Daffodil Delight.


Adhere three flowers in a side by side cluster, with a Stampin' Dimensional on each flower, on left side of Basic White panel with message.  Adhere flower pot to cover bottom of flower stems, with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adhere butterfly above left of message with a Stampin' Dimensional.


Embellish with Yellow Low-Profile Sparkle Dots.
