Timeless Plaid Authentic You Shirt Collar Fun Fold Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Papers (DSP) and sentiment from the Legendary Ride stamp set.

The shirt collar fun fold is a simple feature that adds a nice touch to a card.  This message on the front can easily be used for a birthday, Father's Day, or any other occasion you want to recognize someone for.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Legendary Ride stamp set
• Wild Wheat cardstock 
• card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• 2-3/4 x 1-1/2
• Lost Lagoon cardstock
• 4 x 2-1/2
• Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper 
• 5-1/4 x 4 Lost Lagoon/Wild Wheat large plaid print 
• 4 x 1-7/8 Small Lost Lagoon tone on tone print
• Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
• Gold Textured adhesive-backed Dots
• Paper Trimmer
• Silicone Craft Sheet

Here's How It's Made:

To create collar fold, measure and mark 2" down from top right edge of card front, score  from upper left corner (at fold) to mark.

Measure and mark large plaid DSP print 2" down from right edge, cut diagonally from upper left corner to mark.  Cut coordinating DSP print diagonally (note: with selected print facing up, cut from upper right to lower left to have print cut in proper direction)

*Adhere large plaid DSP print to card front, leaving a 1/8" border at sides and bottom, adhere coordinating small DSP piece to folded over collar piece aligned at diagonal edge, leaving a small border at bottom and right edges.  Adhere Lost Lagoon cardstock to inside front, leaving a 1/8" border at top and right edges.

*When adhering pieces with small triangular edges, the Silicone Craft Sheet is a great tool!  You can run your Stampin' Seal right to the tip of your paper without getting adhesive where you don't want it, and making sure it's all the way to the very tips of your paper, where you DO want it.

Ink sentiment with Pretty Peacock, stamp onto Wild Wheat cardstock, centering.  Adhere on lower front center of card. 

Embellish with 3 large Gold Textured Dots at right edge of DSP to represent buttons.

The alternate color combination uses the Wild Wheat cardstock with Copper Clay cardstock and ink.
