Textured Floral Just A Note Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Textured Floral stamp set and dies and the watercolor wash background print from the Full of Life Designer Series Papers (DSP).  Sentiment is from Shadowed Shapes stamp set.

Techniques include two-step stamping and die cutting.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Textured Floral stamp set
  • Shadowed Shapes stamp set
  • Textured Floral dies
  • Nested Essentials dies
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
    • 3 x 5/8
  • Basic Beige cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
    • 3-1/4 x 2-1/2 
    • 2-1/2 x 2
  • Full of Life Designer Series Paper 
    • 5 x 3-3/4 watercolor wash print
  • Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Garden Green Linen Thread - 11"
  • Melon Mambo Glossy Dots 
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere Basic Beige cardstock panel to Fresh Freesia folded card front, adhere DSP panel onto Basic Beige panel.


Die cut largest rounded corner Nested Essentials rectangle from 3-1/4 x 2-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock.  Ink flower bud cluster stamp with Melon Mambo, stamp onto die cut with top flower at top edge of die cut.  Ink stem stamp with Garden Green, align inside flower bud cluster, stamp.  Ink medium sized single flower stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp onto Basic Beige cardstock, die cut.  Ink small flower center stamp with Highland Heather, stamp in center of flower.  Ink long leafy stamp with Garden Green, stamp onto Basic Beige cardstock, die cut. 


Adhere leaf die cut at bottom left of flower bud cluster, with leaf ends extending off left side of label die cut.  Adhere Fresh Freesia Flower at bottom of flower bud cluster with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere label to lower right of card front, leaving a 1/4" border to edge of DSP.  

Ink "Just a Note" with Melon Mambo, stamp onto Fresh Freesia cardstock strip.  Adhere at upper left of card front, with left edge of strip aligned at edge of DSP panel.


Tie Garden Green linen thread into bow, adhere on leaves at edge of die cut flower.  Embellish label with Melon Mambo Glossy dots.
