Reindeer Days DSP Happy Christmas Gift Bow Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Reindeer Days Designer Series Papers (DSP), Peaceful Evergreens dies, and Peaceful Season stamp set.

Techniques included building a cardstock bow using the Peaceful Evergreens dies.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Peaceful Evergreens dies
  • Peaceful Season stamp set
  • Garden Green cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
    • scraps for bow die cuts
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 3-1/8 x 1-1/2 
  • Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper 
    • 5-1/4 x 4 plaid print
    • 4 x 3 holly leaves & berries print
  • Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Real Red & White adhesive-backed Peppermints
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
  • Bone Folder
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Mini Glue Dots

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere plaid DSP print to Garden Green folded card base, adhere holly leaves & berries print to plaid DSP.

Ink "Christmas" with Real Red, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, making sure to stamp low enough to leave room for "Happy".  Ink "Happy" with Garden Green, stamp above "Christmas".  


Die cut pieces for bow.  


Using bone folder, run edge along length of bow pieces to loosen cardstock fibers so they curl.  Place mini glue dot onto rounded end of one bow piece, adhere rounded end of other bow piece to it.


Adhere bow tails piece to assembled bow piece with mini glue dot.


Adhere rounded end of bow piece center with mini glue dot.


Adhere remaining end of bow piece to center with mini glue dot.


Adhere small square to center of bow with mini glue dot.


Adhere assembled bow at top edge of holly print with mini glue dot, centering.  Adhere stamped sentiment below bow tails on holly print panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.


Adhere large Peppermint embellishment to left of "Happy".
