Decorative Trees with Enamel Effects Holly Berries Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Decorative Trees dies, Peaceful Season stamp set and Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP).


Techniques used are Enamel Effects for the holly berries, and two-step die cutting for the tree.  

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Decorative Trees dies - reduced price on Last Chance List while supplies last 
  • Peaceful Season stamp set - reduced price on Last Chance List while supplies last
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Real Red cardstock
    • 4-1/4 x 2-1/8
  • Cherry Cobbler cardstock
    • 3 x 2-1/4
  • Lemon Lime Twist cardstock
    • 3 x 2-1/4 
  • Basic White cardstock
    • scraps for sentiment
  • Granny Apple Green cardstock
    • 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 
  • Garden Green cardstock
    • 2-3/4 x 2 with adhesive sheet
  • Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper 
    • 5 x 2 Garden Green/white stripe print
  • Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Red Enamel Effects
  • Adhesive sheets
  • Green Shimmer Gems
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut holly leaves tree from Garden Green cardstock with adhesive sheet attached.  Die cut solid tree from Granny Apple Green cardstock (this tree is larger).  Peel protective backing from holly tree, line with top of solid tree and adhere, trim off excess at bottom.  Apply small drops of red enamel effects to tree to create berries.  Set aside to set.


Adhere DSP print to Basic White folded card front, leaving 1/4" at left edge, top & bottom.  Adhere Real Red cardstock 1/2" from left edge of DSP, centering vertically.  Adhere Cherry Cobbler cardstock in landscape orientation, 1/2" from left edge of Real Red, centering vertically.  Adhere Lemon Lime Twist cardstock on Cherry Cobbler layer.  


Adhere die cut tree to Lemon Lime Twist cardstock panel.  

Ink Merry with Real Red, stamp onto Basic White, trim down to small border around word (2).  Adhere to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals, one above & left of tree, other below right of tree.


Embellish with Green Shimmer Gems
