Greetings!
I realized in looking through my last few blog posts, I've been featuring cards in the pastel and neutral tones, so it's time to shake it up and share something with a little more vibrancy. There is no better pack of papers than the Masterfully Made Designer Series Papers (DSP) to bring in some gorgeous deep, vibrant tones to a card. This pack of papers is eye poppingly gorgeous! It's so hard to pick just one print, and with this card you don't have to!
Isn't it lovely! I had my stamp club gathering the other night, which always includes a swap with my six gals that are in my stamp club. The swap from my friend Michelle included this paper strip technique with the vellum circle and the die cut flower from the Wonderful Thoughts bundle. I loved it so much I had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it and share it with you. Thank you, Michelle! 😄
The hardest part is figuring out which five prints to use and what order to put them in. Originally, I had the prints with the Berry Burst on the left, but after placing the Vellum circle and the die cut flower on, I flipped the panel around so more the of the multicolored print showed. I already had them adhered to the Berry Burst cardstock panel, which resulted in the second from the left print with the words upside down. Oh well. Other than those of you who read this, who's going to notice? Just a little oops, and nothing too noticeable. At least I got the stamped messages right side up! 😆

- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
- 3 x 1-1/2

- Vellum cardstock
- 3-1/4 x 3-1/4
- Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper
- Five 5" long strips of coordinating prints in widths of 1/4", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" & 1-1/4"
- Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad
- Mini Stampin' Dimensionals

Here's How It's Made:
Cut strips of DSP, position and adhere onto Berry Burst cardstock panel. Adhere to Fresh Freesia folded card front. Here are the dimensions and position of each of the ones I used:
Ink "Hi Friend" and "You've come so far..." with Berry Burst, stamp onto Fresh Freesia cardstock, leaving space between for them to be die cut. Die cut. Die cut flower from Berry Burst cardstock. Die cut Vellum cardstock with largest circle die from Stylish Shapes dies.
To assemble flower onto Vellum cardstock then onto card front so no adhesive is showing, here's how: Adhere flower to Vellum with dots of Multipurpose Liquid glue. On backside of thick parts of flower die cut, apply Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Also add one at the bottom of the circle where it will be covered by the sentiment die cut, as shown here:
Adhere to assembled card front, with circle at left edge of far left paper strip, centered top & bottom. Adhere "Hi Friend" at upper left of flower with Mini Stampin' Dimensional, and other message along bottom right with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Embellish with Moody Mauve In Color Dots.
