Autumn Leaves Earthen Elegance Leaf Fall Thinking of You Card

Greetings!

I'm so excited to share products from the new Sept-Dec 2023 mini catalog with you today!

As I work on this post, it is a full 30 degrees cooler than it was yesterday at this time, which is a great reminder that autumn temps are coming.  What better way to enjoy the cooler temps of autumn than by sharing a card that definitely embraces the colors and images of the season.

The new Autumn Leaves bundle is filled with gorgeous leaves and gave me a great opportunity to include the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder, which carried over from last year.  It provides the perfect textural backdrop for the beautiful die cut leaves, a little strip of Copper Clay Textured ribbon, and an accompanying strip of Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the perfect shades for fall.

There is also a beautiful new All About Autumn DSP pack that would work equally well for this card, and is part of the All About Autumn Suite Collection, which includes the Autumn Leaves bundle.  I simply chose to use the Earthen Elegance DSP as I had it on hand, and loved the colors of the prints I used for this card.  

This card went together very quickly, and also has the added fun factor of being a simple fun fold, with the strip of DSP on the right side actually being on the inside layer of the card.  There's still plenty of space provided to write a thoughtful note and give someone a beautiful surprise in their mailbox.

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss Very Vanilla cardstock with Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder, positioning so upper left area is embossed and lower right area is smooth.  Adhere to Copper Clay folded card front.

Adhere shades of brown stripe DSP print to right side of inside layer of card.  This should show fully to right of card front with a 1/8" border on top, bottom and right edge.

Adhere 3" strip of Copper Clay textured ribbon 1" up from bottom of card front, with right edge near right edge of card front. 

Die cut small Maple leaf: 1 Early Espresso, 1 Copper Clay, 1 pale plants on brown DSP print.  Position as shown on photo, with stems of leaves on ribbon.  

Ink "Thinking of you" with Copper Clay, stamp onto remaining Very Vanilla cardstock, punch with small oval punch.  Adhere on top of leaf cluster/ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.
