Greetings!
This card started out as an oops. I was going to do a fun-fold, and scored the cardstock incorrectly, so I set it aside, pulled out a new piece of Petal Pink cardstock and made the card intended. Since I didn't want to throw away a perfectly good piece of cardstock, I cut off the piece where I had scored it, which left me with a short card front. There's no such thing as a short card front right! It simply gives us a reason to put something lovely on the inside piece that's exposed, which is exactly what I did, and here's the result.
The "thanks" on the swoop of Blushing Bride has been inside my stamp case for months. I stamped it, then never made a card for it, so simply put it away to be used at another time. The Texture Chic Designer Series Papers (DSP) have a lovely array of colors, and all the golds and pinks are just what this "thanks" needed.
The Texture Chic Suite Collection is a beautiful collection, and is designed to carry you through the entire year, with design elements for each season. As you can see, the papers live up to the name well with all the different textures and patterns. It makes it easy to cut out pieces and layers and play with them until you get the look you want. If you haven't given this collection a serious look, I hope this card inspires you to think again.
All the papers have gold foil accents in the prints on one side of each sheet - here's a picture so you can see the highlight of the golds. Gorgeous!

Here's How It's Made:
Adhere gold dots on pink DSP print to Petal Pink card front. Adhere 3/4" strip of complimentary pattern on right edge of inside of card.
Die cut grid type piece, small detailed flower and solid leaf out of Brushed Gold Metallic Paper. Die cut detailed large leaf from Petal Pink cardstock.
Ink "swoosh" stamp with Blushing Bride and stamp onto Shimmery White cardstock.
Adhere die cut grid piece to DSP panel, layer on the greeting , add the die cut flower and leaves as shown above. Finish with a Crumb Cake Baker's Twine bow tied and adhered to the stems of the leaves with a mini glue dot.
