I love this Sale-a-bration time of year! There are so many lovely items to choose from for FREE for every $50 of product purchased.
One of the very first things I saw that I knew I had to have was the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP). I of course take them all out of the package, and ooh and aah over each of the 6 double-sided sheets, which means 12 beautiful prints to choose from! For the card I'm featuring in today's blog, the gorgeous watercolor print won out. The entire sheet is a wash of different colors looking as if they were spilled onto the paper, with little puddles and splatters of color. It's gorgeous!
After perusing my stamp sets, I chose the tree from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set, and after trying a few different looks, decided upon a white heat embossed tree. It looks almost ethereal, would you agree?
The Nature's Prints stamp set provides the perfect little greeting in a fabulous font style, which is layered on a piece of another of the patterned papers included in the Dainty Flowers DSP pack. I made more than one of these cards, as each section of the watercolor print has its own lovely wash of color for the tree to adorn.

Here's How It's Made:
Ink tree stamp with Versamark and stamp onto watercolor wash DSP. Sprinkle with White embossing powder and heat set with heat tool. Note: this stamp is designed with varying degrees of opacity, so the embossing won't appear uniformly solid. Adhere to Orchid Oasis card front.
Cut a 3" length of White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon, pull loose string to fringe 1/4" on one end. Adhere to lower right edge of card front.
Insert one end of 1" wide white/blue DSP into punch, punch. Adhere onto ribbon strip.
Ink "Hello there" with Starry Sky. Stamp onto Shimmery White cardstock. Center small oval die around greeting and die cut. Adhere to white/blue banner layer.
Embellish tree and greeting with small and large In Color Opal Rounds.
