Wild Cats birthday card

 Greetings!

When the annual catalog arrived this Spring, it was a day of celebration for sure!  I love going page by page and admiring all the creativity displayed on each and every page.  When I got to the page showing the In the Wild Suite I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped!  The images and the colors in this suite are so unique and eye catching. This set features wild cats in both a standing and sitting position. You then decide if they will be Tigers or Jaguars, Cheetahs or Leopards by adding the correct stamped images to fill in their stripes or spots.  Ingenious!  The messages in this set are purr-fect for wild cats!

For today's card the Leopard was the winner.  Look how beautiful the detail is around the face!

The In the Wild Designer Series Paper (DSP) made it easy to choose the colors.  Look how gorgeous these papers are...and this is only two of the 12 design/color options available in this pack.

Here's how it's made:

Ink sitting cat image with Soft Succulent.  Stamp onto white cardstock.  Ink face outline stamp with Evening Evergreen, position over cat face, and stamp.

TIP: The Stamparatus stamp positioning tool makes getting your two-step stamping perfect every time. It's also great when wanting to stamp multiple images at once, as I did with the face and the spots.

Here is the official youtube video to show you how to use the Stamparatus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2o3rBfUiGw

Select two circle dies and one scalloped circle die to fit inside each cardstock square, position on  Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine and cut.  Adhere cat onto Soft Succulent circle.  Adhere to scalloped circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Adhere Evening Evergreen layer to card front, attach DSP.  Position cat circle in upper center, adhere.  Adhere white cardstock strip, adhere DSP strip.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Stamp inside message with Crushed Curry.  Adhere cardstock to inside.  Attach DSP.
Use the Simply Shammy to easily clean your Stamparatus and Clear Blocks.
