Peaceful Dear Layered Circles Rudolph

Greetings!

There have been some beautiful stamp sets in recent years featuring reindeer.  The clincher for this year's to be the best is that it comes with a punch!  The stamp set is gorgeous!  It features deer in 3 different positions and sizes, as well as a variety of trees to create beautiful scenery for your deer, and also includes greetings and lovely messages for the inside of your card.  All this and did I mention it comes with a punch?!!  The punch makes it so fun to cut out not only the deer, but antlers, and a cute little nose!  Since it has the nose, my card I'm sharing today is featuring Rudolph.

Gather your supplies:

• Peaceful Deer Bundle (Peaceful Deer stamp set + Deer Builder Punch - save 10% when purchased with bundle item #)
• Layering Circles Dies

• Soft Suede cardstock- 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4" OR 4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5-1/2", 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" for scalloped circle (use scraps for antlers)
• Sahara Sand cardstock-  2-3/4" x 2-3/4" for circle 
• Basic White cardstock - (2) 3" x 3"  (1)deer and (1)circle, 5-1/4" x 4" for inside layer, 
• Peaceful Deer Designer Series Paper -5-1/4" x 2-1/2 (birch print) 5-1/4 x 1-1/2 (small deer) for front, 5-1/4" x 3/4" for inside strip
• Real Red - scrap for nose

Here's how it's made:

Stamp deer in Soft Suede.  Line up and punch. 

Cut scalloped circle in Soft Suede cardstock.  Use scraps to punch out antlers.  Cut circles from Basic White and Sahara Sand cardstock.  Adhere circle layers as shown.  

Adhere deer with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  Cut a mini dimensional in half to adhere antlers.

Adhere Designer Series Paper, leaving a small space between the upper and lower pieces.  Adhere finished deer/circle.

Wrap ribbon around card front and tie.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Stamp sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set in Sahara Sand.  Adhere DSP strip.  Attach to cardstock base.
