With You In Mind Diagonal Pocket Fold Birthday Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the With You In Mind stamp set and the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Papers (DSP).

This diagonal pocket fold card uses a 12 x 5-1/5 piece of DSP for the card base.  It's a great way to show the prints on both sides, and the inside pocket allows you to insert a gift card along with your note if you wish.   Techniques include die cutting and fussy cutting. 

Gather Your Supplies:

• With You In Mind stamp set
• The Right Words stamp set
• Textured Notes dies
• Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper (DSP)
• 12 x 5-1/2, scored and fold at 4 & 8 gingham/starburst print combo
• 4-1/4 x 2-3/4 multipatterned striped print die cut
• 2-1/2 x 1-1/4 multipatterned striped print for punch
• Gray Granite cardstock
• 3-3/4 x 2-1/4 die cut
• Basic White cardstock
• 4-1/4 x 3-1/4 for pocket insert
• scrap for fussy cut star
• Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
• Darling Duckling Classic Stampin' Pad
• Neutral Matte Dots - beige
• Labeled With Love punch
• Tear & Tape adhesive
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Score DSP at 4 and 8, then on far right section, measure and mark top 1" from fold, measure and mark 2-1/2 down from top on right edge.  Cut diagonally, then fold back to fold line to create flap.  

Apply tear & tape adhesive along lower right inside and bottom inside edge, adhere to center panel to create pocket.

Ink birthday message with Pretty Peacock, stamp in upper center of Basic White cardstock.  Ink star, stamp in upper left and lower right.  Punch DSP striped print lengthwise, fold punched piece in half, adhere at top of insert panel.

Ink Happy Birthday, stamp onto die cut Gray Granite cardstock, centering.  Ink star, stamp onto Basic White cardstock scrap, fussy cut out star.  Die cut multipatterned striped print.

Adhere striped DSP die cut to card front at an angle, adhere birthday die cut horizontally to upper part of card, adhere star at bottom of birthday panel.

Embellish with beige Neutral Matte Dots.

Christmas Tags & More Jolly Holly Joy Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features prints and pre-cut pieces from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Designer Series Paper (DSP) and "joy" die cut from the Holly Jolly dies.

Techniques include die cutting and coloring embellishments with Stampin' Blends.  This card has no stamping on it - all ornaments and greenery are pre-cut pieces included in the Christmas Tags & More DSP pack.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Jolly Holly dies
• Nested Essentials dies
• Crumb Cake cardstock 
• card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Basic White cardstock
• 3 x 2-1/8 for banner die cut
• Real Red cardstock
• 2-1/4 x 1-1/2 with adhesive sheet for JOY die cut
• Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Designer Series Paper (DSP)
• 4-1/4 x 1-5/8 white dots on Crumb Cake print
• 4-1/4 x 1-5/8 geometric Crumb Cake print
• 3 x 2 red & white diagonal lined plaid print
• large red, small oval, round greenery ornament cut outs, greenery with berries cut out
• Real Red Stampin' Blends 
• Iridescent Pearls
• Real Red & White Baker's Twine - 9"
• Adhesive Sheet
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Cut red & white diagonal lined plaid tag into two pieces.  

Adhere longer piece of diagonal line print near top of folded card front, 1/2" from right edge, adhere remaining diagonal line print piece near bottom of card front, 1/2" from right edge.  Adhere dotted and geometric DSP pieces at slight angles, overlapping somewhat, near right edge.  Adhere Basic White die cut banner over angled DSP pieces, aligned with diagonal plaid pieces.  Adhere large ornament and greenery onto banner.

Die cut "joy" from Real Red cardstock with adhesive sheet.  Peel backing and adhere at angle in upper left corner of card front.  Adhere greenery ornament as if hanging from bottom of "j", and adhere oval red ornament at bottom right of banner tag.

Embellish with pearls; color three pearls with Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend, leave three pearls white.  Tie bakers twine into bow, adhere at top of large ornament.
