Delightful Wishes Birthday Wishes in Pool Party

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Delightful Wishes stamp & die bundle, and the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Papers.

Techniques include heat embossing and two-step stamping.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Delightful Wishes Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
• Basic White Thick cardstock 
• card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• Basic White cardstock
• 4 x 2-1/2 for flower & leaf die cuts
• 3-3/4 x 2 for sentiment die cut
• Pool Party cardstock
• 3-1/2 x 1/2
• Early Espresso cardstock
• 5 x 2 with adhesive sheet
• (2) 5-1/2 x 1/8 strips 
• Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper 
• 5-1/2 x 3 Pool Party gingham print
• Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad
• Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad
• VersaMark Ink Pad
• White Wow! Embossing Powder
• Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels 
• Adhesive sheet 
• Heat Tool
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Ink flower cluster detail stamp with Pool Party, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink flower cluster fill stamp, stamp off once, align and stamp over detail stamped image.  Ink two-leaf stamp with Old Olive, stamp onto Basic White cardstock piece, re-ink and stamp image three more times.  Die cut all pieces.  Die cut branch from Early Espresso with adhesive sheet attached.

Remove backing from branch, position on gingham print vellum with stem near left upper edge, angling down across vellum slightly.  Position three flower cluster at branch intersections near base, position remaining flowers near branch tips.  Tuck leaf bases under flowers, adhere.

Ink "wishing" with Old Olive, stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  Die cut with outline "wishing" die.  Ink birthday sentiment with VersaMark ink, stamp onto Pool Party cardstock, sprinkle White embossing powder onto sentiment, shake off excess, use heat tool to melt embossing powder.  Die cut with small label die.  

Adhere "wishing" die cut under branch, adhere birthday sentiment directly under "wishing".

To adhere vellum without adhesive showing through to front, apply adhesive on backside underneath all die cut areas, either with mini glue dots or liquid glue.  Adhere to Basic White Thick folded card front, centering.  Edges will be free of adhesive.

 

Adhere Early Espresso cardstock strips at top and bottom of vellum.

Embellish with small and large Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Spring Corners Day Brightener Whimsical Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Spring Corners stamp and die bundle and the Fun Patterns embossing folder.

Techniques include die cutting and embossing.

• Summer Splash cardstock 
• card base 4-1/4 x 5-1/2    
• Basic White cardstock
• 8 x 5, scored and folded at 4
• Daffodil Delight cardstock
• 2-1/4 square
• 2 x 7/8
• Lemon Lime Twist cardstock
• 2-1/2 x 2 
• 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper 
• 2-1/4 x 1-1/2 Summer Splash scattered leaves & flowers print
• Summer Splash Classic Stampin' Pad
• Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere Basic White folded card to Summer Splash cardstock panel, with border around top and sides, and bottom opening even with bottom of Summer Splash panel.

Emboss Lemon Lime Twist cardstock with arched floral embossing folder.

Die cut sun from Daffodil Delight cardstock.  Draw smile and eyes with Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  NOTE: I used a cap from a small spray bottle as my template for the smile (3/4" diameter).  Ink ray stamp with Daffodil Delight, stamp above each eye.

Ink sentiment with Summer Splash, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, centering.  Ink ray stamp and stamp at upper outer corners of the word "brighten".  

Trim down Basic White label slightly on all four sides, adhere to Daffodil Delight cardstock.

Adhere pieces to Basic White card front, leaving a 1/4" border around all sides.  Lemon Lime Twist embossed piece in upper right, sentiment label below it with Stampin' Dimensionals, DSP piece in bottom left, and sun in upper left.

Embellish with Lemon Lime Twist colored Transparent Dots.
