Greetings!
It's easy to think birthday when you see a card with balloons on it and the Beautiful Balloons bundle has a fantastic assortment in various sizes for you to create with. Between the balloon dies and stamps that feature balloons with confetti on them you have multiple options for creating your card.
For today's card I opted for using all the fun ribbon and confetti stamps to create a colorful background and add solid color cardstock die cut balloons "floating" on the card. *Heat embossing "Happy Birthday" in white embossing powder on the balloon really pops the greeting in a simple way.
Using the 2022-2024 In Color collection provides a great combination of colors to work with. Since the In Color assortments can be purchased as a collection it's an affordable way to get cardstock, ink pads and the In Color Baker's Twine Pack as well. It's a beautiful, festive combination of colors making it the perfect choice for this card.
*Heat embossing is magic! Add embossing powder to wet ink or Versamark™ inked images, apply heat from the heat tool until you see the powder liquify and turn into a solid enamel looking word or image. It's the wow technique of stamping.

Here's How It's Made:
Ink the ribbon stamp and stamp ribbons randomly in all directions on Basic White cardstock. I stamped twice in each color: Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis & Tahitian Tide.
Ink and stamp small confetti style stamps as shown in the four colors to fill in the spaces between the ribbons.
Ink "Happy Birthday" with Versamark, stamp onto Sweet Sorbet cardstock, sprinkle with White embossing powder, shake off excess, heat set with heat tool. Die cut with largest single balloon die.
Die cut four more balloons, each in a different size and color.
Tie Baker's Twine around "stems" of balloons by cutting a little notch on each side of the stem, adding a mini glue dot to the back to hold the twine in place, wrap or tie the twine around the balloon stem, trim. I chose to mix up the twine colors so they weren't the same color as the balloon they're attached to. Adhere all balloons with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here's what the inside looks like:
Cut a Basic White cardstock panel - 5 x 4.
Ink "I think it's time..." with Orchid Oasis and stamp in upper middle of panel. Ink ribbons and confetti stamps with various 2022-2024 In Colors and stamp around message, leaving space below for note and signature.
