Beauty of the Earth Thinking of You

 Greetings!

The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Papers are so appropriately named!  They feature a wonderful variety of prints reflecting the seasons in a spectacular array of colors.  These gorgeous papers easily stand as the focal point. 

Since we are in the fall season it was easy to select the paper showing branches with the golds, oranges and reds of fall in the leaves.  Simply add your card base, a layer or two for texture and a message and voila', you have a card  ready to brighten someone's day.

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss So Saffron panel with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to front of card base.

Adhere Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel, centering on front of card.

Emboss Cinnamon Cider piece with Stitched Greenery die and adhere, placing 1/2" from bottom and right side of DSP panel. 

Ink "Thinking of You" with Early Espresso and stamp onto Basic White scrap.  Align inside label die and die cut.  Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Die cut birds from Crumb Cake cardstock scrap.  Adhere 1 bird to card front in branches.  Add eye with writing tip of Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Tie bow in linen thread, adhere to label with mini glue dot.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Ink sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Early Espresso.  Stamp in upper half of inside of card.

Adhere 2nd bird to right of sentiment.

Cut a 1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of same DSP print as front of card and adhere near bottom of inside of card.

Harvest Meadow Birthday Bouquet

 Greetings!

The Harvest Meadow Suite has such a wonderful assortment of items!  You truly never run out of ways to combine the various elements to come up with something fresh and new each time.

For this card I chose the Harvest Dies and the gorgeous Harvest Meadow Designer Series Papers.  The dies have such a realistic look to the silhouettes that it feels like they're actual dried flowers, grasses and branches.  Adding a cut piece of the Paper Lattice behind the bouquet is a great compliment to the beautiful papers as are the square cut gems set like diamonds.  Wrapping the stems with a little Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker's Twine  pulls in a bit more of the lovely blue hues.

Feels like a breath of fresh air!

Isn't it lovely!  It evokes the feeling of a lovely walk on a cool Autumn day.  This card is very gender neutral as well so it's a great card to help anyone celebrate their birthday.

Here's How It's Made:

Emboss Very Vanilla panel with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to card base front.

Adhere both Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper pieces to panel, centering top to bottom and side to side, with inner edges of the two butting against each other.

Adhere cut Paper Lattice using mini glue dots behind 2 or 3 of the solid circles.

Cut Night of Navy "wheat" die cut apart at small connections so you have three individual stalks.  Layer wheat, twig and flower stems on top of one another, and wrap and tie baker's twine around them.  Adhere using mini stampin' dimensionals.

Ink "Happy Birthday" from Art Gallery stamp set in Misty Moonlight, stamp onto Very Vanilla 1/2" strip.  Align right end in Banners Pick a Punch and punch.  Align with left edge of embossed panel, adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Attach Bumblebee and Misty Moonlight square gems using Take Your Pick tool.

The Take Your Pick Tool makes attaching small pieces easy and precise.  Use the Putty Tip for easy grabbing and placement of small embellishments.

There are no ink pads or stamps used in the making of this card! What!?  

This card features items from the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  It's a wonderful pack of double sided cards full of beautiful designs along with sticker sheets! The Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes are pre-scored card bases and envelopes specifically sized for the card pack. All you have to do is pick which ones you want to use, adhere them to a card base and it's ready to mail.   It really doesn't get much easier than this.

Here's How It's Made:

Select 4" x 6"card for background and 3" x 4"card for message.  Using the Paper Trimmer, cut 1/4" off both top and bottom edges of smaller card so it now measures 2-1/2" x 4".  Adhere to printed card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Adhere Misty Moonlight cardstock 1/4" up from bottom edge of card.  Wrap White Faux Linen Ribbon around card and tie bow, trim ends using Paper Snips. 

Apply Stampin' Seal to back of assembled card base, making sure to run some adhesive over ribbon to secure into place.  Press onto folded card base.

Embellish with Artistry Blooms Sequins.
