Hello!!
One of the beautiful new additions this year is the Simply Succulents stamp set and coordinating Potted Succulents dies. Succulents are so on trend right now in all areas of decor including cards. One of the new Stampin' Up! In-Colors for 2021-2023 is even named Soft Succulent!
The Potted Succulents dies feature a die large enough to cover the entire front of your card! The benefit of this design is that it's an overlay on your card base as well as providing a beautiful backdrop for your focal point and sentiment.
So Serene!
Simply Gorgeous!
The variation in the green background behind the die cut is simply a piece of white cardstock that has Soft Succulent and Pear Pizzazz ink applied with Blending Brushes. The stamped succulent and the Aloe die cut are also colored using the Blending Brushes with the same two greens, again on white card stock. The reversible ribbon is such a beautiful partner as it is in two shades of green also.
This card could also easily be turned into a piece of wall art. Remove the sentiment, pop it into a picture frame and you have a beautiful piece of art for your home.

- Center your large die on the piece of cardstock so your borders are even. Using the die brush tip for the take your pick tool makes it so easy to remove all the small cut pieces. Run liquid glue around all four sides, line up and gently press onto layer you've colored with the blending brushes.
- Tie the ribbon around assembled layers BEFORE attaching to card base front.
- Paper snips give you nice clean cuts on the ends of your ribbon.
- Stamp sentiment in Pear Pizzazz on Basic White. Center in die and cut.
- Aloe cut out and succulent blossom are attached using strips of tear & tape adhesive. This adhesive is very strong and thick enough to adhere to the colored layer under the die cut.
