Textured Notes Just a Note Collage Stamping Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Textured Notes and Elements of Text stamp sets.  The sentiment is from the Shadowed Shapes stamp set.


Techniques include collage stamping and torn and rolled edges.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Textured Notes stamp set
  • Elements of Text stamp set
  • Shadowed Shapes stamp set
  • Pebbled Path cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Gray Granite cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
  • Lost Lagoon cardstock
    • 4-1/2 x 3
  • Basic Beige cardstock
    • 4-1/4 x 3 
  • Wild Wheat cardstock
    • 3 x 1/2
  • Lost Lagoon Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Wild Wheat Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Garden Green Linen Thread - 6-7"
  • Earth Tones Shimmer Gems
  • Stampin' Dimensionals

Here's How It's Made:

From Elements of Text stamp set, ink rectangular script stamp with Lost Lagoon, stamp in upper left area of Gray Granite cardstock, re-ink and stamp in lower right.  Ink splatter stamp with Lost Lagoon, stamp off once, stamp near outer edge of text, re-ink, stamp off, repeat three more times.


To create collage, stamp images from Textured Notes stamp set onto Basic Beige cardstock, overlapping one another as follows:
  • Lost Lagoon - woven circle in lower area (leave enough space at bottom to tear off 1/4" or so)
  • Garden Green - small leafy stamp on upper left side of woven circle
  • Wild Wheat - woven strip below leafy stem extending off right of circle
From Elements of Text stamp set
  • Lost Lagoon - ink splatter stamp, stamp off, and stamp over top of leafy stamp, re-ink, stamp off, stamp over lower right of woven strip stamp.
NOTE: Ignore the "Just a Note" stamped image on the Basic Beige piece.  This will be stamped onto Wild Wheat cardstock, and layered on top of collage.

Tear 1/4" from bottom of Basic Beige cardstock.


Ink sentiment with Pretty Peacock, stamp onto left side of Wild Wheat cardstock strip, tear 1/4 from right edge.

Apply adhesive to back of Wild Wheat strip, zigzag linen thread on back, bring around front at right of sentiment.  Adhere over stem of leafy stamp, extending over right edge of Basic Beige cardstock.  Adhere assembled piece to Lost Lagoon, with right edge extending over edge of Lost Lagoon by 3/8".  Adhere to Gray Granite panel.


Adhere assembled layers to Pebbled Path folded card front.  Tear off upper left corner and roll slightly.


Embellish with Beige Shimmer Gems.

Trusty Tools Paintbrushes Wonderful Thoughts Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Trusty Tools and Wonderful Thoughts stamp sets.


Techniques include creating a background using the splatter stamps from the Elements of Text stamp set, and two step stamping.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Trusty Tools stamp set
  • Wonderful Thoughts stamp set
  • Elements of Text stamp set
  • Basic White Thick  cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Crumb Cake cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 panel
    • 2 x 3/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 3-1/2 x 3
  • Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Happy Labels small scalloped edge punch
  • Adhesive-backed Textured Dots
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Paper Trimmer

Here's How It's Made:

Ink both splatter stamps with Fresh Freesia, stamp randomly around edges of Crumb Cake cardstock.  Repeat process with both Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss inks, cleaning stamps between each color.  Adhere to Basic White Thick folded card front.


Ink paintbrush with Smoky Slate, stamp three brushes, re-inking each time,  onto Basic White cardstock panel.  Ink paintbrush handle stamp with Crumb Cake, stamp onto paintbrush handle, re-ink and repeat for each paintbrush.  Ink paint stamp and stamp onto bottom of brush, using Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss, cleaning between each color.  Adhere to Crumb Cake panel.


Punch edges of Crumb Cake cardstock using small scalloped edge.  NOTE: Adhere a 1/2" sticky note to edge of label to help insert and align into punch.  Ink splatter stamp with Fresh Freesia, stamp off, then stamp onto label.  Ink paint stamp with Highland Heather, stamp at each end of label.  Ink sentiment with Blackberry Bliss, stamp in center of label.  


Adhere label over handle of center paint brush with Stampin' Dimensionals.


Adhere small Textured Dot to hole of each paintbrush handle.
