Full of Life Happy New Year Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Full of Life Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Greetings of the Season stamp and die bundle.

A quick, festive card to kick off the new year.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Greetings of the Season Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
• Basic White cardstock 
• card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
• 3-3/4 x 2 for die cut labels
• Daffodil Delight cardstock
• scrap 
• Full of Life Designer Series Paper 
• 6 x 6 color burst print
• Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
• Gold Textured adhesive-backed Dots
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Cut DSP print down by removing 1" from each side, and 5/8" from top and bottom, to keep center of color burst in middle of panel.  Adhere to Basic White folded card front.  

Die cut oval label, and long rounded end label from Basic White cardstock.  Ink "New Year", stamp in center of long label.  Ink "Happy", stamp onto Daffodil Delight cardstock.  Trim excess cardstock from top and bottom, then cut in between each letter to separate them.  Adhere letters curved slightly along top of oval.

Adhere oval label to center of DSP panel, adhere long label over oval, centering.  

Embellish with Gold Textured Dots.

Crafting With You Tent Card with Thoughtful Journey DSP "Painting"

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Crafting With You stamp set, Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Papers and tent card fun fold.

Techniques include coloring with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Crafting With You stamp set
• Crafting With You dies
• Basic Beige cardstock 
• card base 6 x 4-1/4, scored and folded at 3
• scrap for paintbrushes
• Mossy Meadow cardstock
• 4-1/8 x 3-1/8 panel
• Old Olive cardstock
• 3-3/4 x 2-3/4
• Crumb Cake cardstock
• 1-1/2 x 1 
• Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper 
• 2 x 1-1/2 section of print that will work as a "painting"
• Country Woods Designer Series Paper (or Crumb Cake cardstock)
• 3-1/2 x 2-3/4 
• Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad
• Watercolor Pencils Assortment 1
• Blender Pens
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Ink easel stamp with Crumb Cake, stamp onto woodgrain print, die cut.

Select a print from the Thoughtful Journey DSP that will work for your "painting".  Here's the one I used: 

Adhere "painting" onto easel.  Adhere easel to Old Olive cardstock, then adhere to Mossy Meadow cardstock.

Ink paintbrush stamp with Crumb Cake, stamp onto Basic Beige cardstock.  Using watercolor pencils, color in brush tips and shafts of each brush, color over with Blending Brush to soften and blend pencil strokes, die cut. (I chose colors similar to colors in DSP print chosen)

Ink sentiment with Crumb Cake, stamp at bottom of Basic Beige folded card front, 1/2" from left edge.

Ink rectangular basket stamp with Crumb Cake, stamp onto Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut.

Adhere easel panel to card base, making sure full length when assembled does not exceed 5-1/2".  Here's what it should look like from the side:

Adhere basket with paintbrushes at lower right of panel on card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Nests of Winter Easy Z-fold Seasonal Wishes Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP), Winterly Tree Top dies, and Peaceful Season stamp set.

Techniques used are die cutting a DSP image and z-fold fun fold.  Inside also features coloring with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Gather Your Supplies:

• Winterly Tree Tops Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
• Peaceful Season stamp set
• Copper Clay cardstock 
• card base panel 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
• Basic White cardstock
• 3-3/4 x 3-3/4 panel
• 3-1/2 x 2-3/4 for die cut reinforcement layer
• Pool Party cardstock
• 2-1/2  x 2
• Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper 
• birch bark/wintry bud print
• blue/yellow bird pair - die cut
• Pebbled Path Classic Stampin' Pad
• Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad
• Wink of Stella Glitter Brush
• Copper Clay Linen Thread - 10"
• Modern Oval Punch
• Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Stampin' Dimensionals
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Score DSP piece at 2-1/2 and 6-3/4, then fold to form z-fold.

Adhere z-fold panel to Copper Clay cardstock panel.

Die cut bird pair from DSP, and die cut same birds from Basic White cardstock.  Punch Modern Oval from Pool Party cardstock.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, apply a thin layer to back of DSP birds, covering all areas, adhere to Basic White die cut.  Ink sentiment with Pebbled Path, stamp at bottom edge of Pool Party cardstock.  Adhere birds to punch piece, positioning so tail and berries are at edges of sentiment.

Adhere birds to front flap of DSP, with left half extending off edge, using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Tie Copper Clay Linen Thread into bow, adhere at right branch edge.

Ink sentiment with Pebbled Path, stamp onto Basic White cardstock panel.  Ink small bud stamp with Pebbled Path, stamp at lower right corner.  Press lid of Cherry Cobbler stamp pad firmly to transfer ink from pad to lid, open.  Brush Wink of Stella brush onto ink to grab a little and fill in buds with glittery ink.  Allow to dry.  Adhere finished panel to inside of card near left edge.
