Greetings!
I love to challenge myself by beginning my card with a panel of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to use as the background, and then seeing what I can come up with for the focal point of the card. The Dainty Flowers Designer Series Papers (DSP), which is one of the gorgeous choices during Sale-a-bration, really has a lovely variety of prints to work with. I have not purchased the bundle which coordinates with these papers, so I had to find a nice alternative. The great thing is that Stampin' Up! does such a wonderful job of having various options to work with.
I settled on the Lighting the Way stamp set as the stamps for the greenery have the same type of delicacy to them as what's on the Dainty Flowers DSP. By using the same Sahara Sand cardstock color for the card base as well as the focal panel, it brings a very peaceful feeling to the card. Giving the Stitched Rectangle a narrow frame of Mossy Meadow helps show the fun zigzag of Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon peaking out behind it. I decided to add a little something extra and tied the ends of the ribbon in knots, because that's the fun of it, right? Adding our own personal touches to the cards we make.
Sliding a bit of color under the Vellum pops the message, which is done with a small strip of ribbon. The Petal Pink 3/8" Soft Polyester Ribbon feels like suede - it's very soft and has a wonderful texture.
Notice the adorable little firefly sitting on the grass in the lower right corner. This is just one of the fun little fireflies included in the Lighting the Way stamp set.
The delicate and lovely "Thinking of YOU" message is part of the Treasured Kindness stamp set, adding a little elegance to the card by having it embossed in gold.
Heat embossing is magic! Add embossing powder to wet ink or Versamark™ inked images, apply heat from the heat tool until you see the powder liquify and turn into a solid enamel looking word or image. It's the WOW technique of stamping.

Product List Here's How It's Made:
Adhere DSP panel to Sahara Sand card base.
Die cut Sahara Sand cardstock with Stitched Rectangle die that just fits. Ink the two tall stemmed plants with Soft Sea Foam and stamp onto rectangle. Ink small 3-stalk stamp with Soft Sea Foam, stamp in lower right corner of rectangle. Ink small firefly with Crumb Cake and stamp at top edge of small plant. Adhere to Mossy Meadow rectangle.
Ink "Thinking of you" with Versamark, stamp onto Vellum. Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set with Heat Tool. Adhere to small piece of Petal Pink Ribbon. (I cut a small strip of Tear & Tape adhesive in half lengthwise and attached it behind the greeting then pressed it onto the ribbon. This way the adhesive doesn't show through the vellum). Adhere greeting to rectangle by applying adhesive to back of Petal Pink ribbon.
Apply adhesive to back of assembled rectangle and zigzag Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon back and forth, leaving enough at beginning and end to tie into a knot. Adhere completed panel to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
