Beautiful Gallery Peaceful Pier Thinking of You Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features the Peaceful Pier stamp set and a print from the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Papers (DSP).


Techniques include stamping onto a DSP print and double matting to create a beautiful framed scene for a simple and stunning card.  

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Peaceful Pier stamp set
  • Crumb Cake cardstock 
    • card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • 5 x 3-1/2 panel
  • Pecan Pie cardstock
    • 4-1/2 x 3-1/4
    • 2-1/4 x 3/8 strip 
  • Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper 
    • 6 x 6 print - cutting details below
  • Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Paper Trimmer

Here's How It's Made:

Cut DSP print down to 4-1/4 x 3, as shown.  Upper left portion is used for card.


Ink trees stamp with Early Espresso, stamp at upper right edge of printed hills.  Ink grasses stamp, stamp at top edge of printed grassy clump.


Adhere stamped panel to Pecan Pie cardstock, then to Early Espresso cardstock layer, and adhere assembled layers to card front.

Ink "thinking of you today" with Early Espresso, stamp onto Pecan Pie cardstock strip, adhere at upper left.

Florals In Bloom Sending Good Vibes Card

Greetings! 

Today's card features items from the Florals in Bloom Suite Collection.  These items include the Pretty Florals stamp and die bundle, a print from the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Timid Tiger Flat Pearls.


Techniques include two-step stamping and paper piecing for the background.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Pretty Florals Bundle (Save 10% when you purchase stamp set & die with bundle item#)
  • The Right Words stamp set
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Peach Pie cardstock
    • 5-1/2 x 1-1/2
  • Garden green cardstock
    • 5-1/2 x 3/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 3-1/4 die cut circle
    • scraps for blooms
    • 2-1/2 x 1/2 for sentiment strip 
  • Shy Shamrock
    • 2 x 1-1/2 with adhesive sheet attached
  • Coastal Cabana
    • 1-3/4 x 1 with adhesive sheet attached
  • Granny Apple Green
    • 2-1/2 x 2 with adhesive sheet attached
  • Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper 
    • 5-1/2 x 1 shades of green print
  • Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Timid Tiger Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Peach Pie Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Spotlight on Nature Dies
  • Timid Tiger Flat Pearls
  • Adhesive Sheets
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Adhere cardstock and DSP strip to card front, starting with Peach Pie at top, DSP in middle, and Garden Green at bottom.


Ink solid flowers stamp with Peach Pie, stamp onto Basic White cardstock, repeat twice more.  Ink outline flowers stamp with Timid Tiger, line up and stamp over each of the three Peach Pie flowers, die cut.  With adhesive sheets attached, die cut smaller triple-stem die from Shy Shamrock, large leafy die from Granny Apple Green, and small leafy die from Coastal Cabana.  Die cut Basic White 3-1/4" Spotlight on Nature die with dash/dot border.


Arrange on circle with Granny Apple Green die cut and Coastal Cabana die cut first, 3-stem Shy Shamrock die on top of them (have all stems close at bottom), tuck flowers under top of stems, adhere top part of each flower with a Stampin' Dimensional to pop it up.  

Ink sentiment with Garden Green, stamp onto Basic White cardstock strip.  Adhere at right bottom of Peach Pie cardstock strip on card front.  Adhere circle at left center of card front.  


Embellish with large and small Timid Tiger Flat Pearl.

#DOswts445 - Blog Hop Pretty Florals Thanks Friend Card

Today's card features the Pretty Florals dies for the lovely flowers and leaves, and a greeting from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack.

Techniques include coloring die cuts with Blending Brushes and an embossed background panel.

Gather Your Supplies:

  • Pretty Florals dies
  • Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera Pack
  • Basic White Thick cardstock 
    • card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2    OR    5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4
  • Basic White cardstock
    • 5-1/4 x 4 for floral and leaf die cuts
    • 5-1/2 x 3 for embossed panel
  • Petunia Pop cardstock
    • 4 x 2 with adhesive sheet attached
  • Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper 
    • 5-1/2 x 1(2)  small flowers on white print
  • Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Blending Brushes
  • Adhesive Sheets
  • Mini stampin' dimensionals
  • Soft Waves 3D embossing folder
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Here's How It's Made:

Die cut two flowers from Basic White cardstock, softly brush Fresh Freesia ink onto flowers with Blending Brush.  Die cut detailed flower accents from Petunia Pop cardstock.  


Peel protective backing off detailed flower accents, adhering so centers and detail lines line up with interior cut line edges on flowers.  Die cut 2 single leaves and large leafy stem from Basic White cardstock.  Brush Granny Apple Green ink onto die cuts with Blending Brush.


Adhere strips of DSP to left and right edges of card front.  Emboss Basic White panel with Soft Waves embossing folder, adhere to center of card front.  

Adhere flowers and leaves angling from upper left to lower right of card front.  


Adhere sentiment with mini stampin' dimensionals at left center of card.
