Greetings!
The Fitting Florets Designer Series Papers (DSP) have the most gorgeous selection of prints and they can so easily be altered to fit various color schemes by simply coloring in some of the white areas. One of the prints features beautiful blue flowers and berries on a navy background with some twigs and berries also in white. I remembered some papers from last winter that had blackberry bliss paired with the blues, so I pulled out my Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends and love the deep rich color it brought to the paper. Playing around with a few little die cut twigs, finding the perfect die cut to use for the sentiment, and pulling it all together with a Blackberry Bliss card base is this lovely card all set to send for a special someone's birthday.
The beautiful blue flowers and berries really pop against the rich hues of the deep colors surrounding them. The little die cut twigs are from the Country Wreaths dies and yet they are almost identical to the ones printed on the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper(DSP). Don't you just love when things come together like that!
Gather Your Supplies:
- Framed Florets stamp set

- card base 4-1/4 x 11 scored & folded at 5-1/2 OR 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored & folded at 4-1/4

Here's How It's Made:
Ink "for a special..." with Blackberry Bliss, stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Die cut with All That dies scalloped circle.
Color in white twigs and berries with Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend, then add a little Dark Blackberry Bliss for shading on berries and color variation on some of the other background twigs.
Here's what the paper looks like before and after:
Adhere white on Balmy Blue background print to Blackberry Bliss card front at a slight angle, then adhere colored blue flowers on navy background print at opposite angle on card front. Adhere sentiment circle near lower right corner of DSP prints with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Die cut Country Wreaths twigs/sprigs dies - three in Rich Razzleberry cardstock and three in Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Adhere one of each color in upper left corner of colored DSP print, adhere other four on opposite sides of sentiment circle die.
Embellish sentiment circle with Pacific Point Fine Sparkle adhesive-backed gems. Tie bow in Tahitian Tide Baker's Twine and adhere to top of sprigs at upper left corner with mini glue dot.
Here's what the inside looks like:
Cut a Basic White cardstock panel to adhere inside of card.
Ink "Wishes for a beautiful birthday" with Blackberry Bliss and stamp in upper half of panel.
